I am very pleased to be recruiting on behalf of my client who looking to strenghthen their team with a new IBA Accounts technician. Given the insurance specific IBA knowledge required, I am seeking a minimum of 18 months IBA experience. My client are a well respected Lloyd's Insurance broker based in City of London. Role overview:
- Analysis of bank receipts and payments with accurate and timely processing of related entries on the company accounting system
- Reconciliation of cash receipts and payments with accounting entries within agreed processes and deadlines
- Processing payments to clients (premiums and claims), markets and third parties using the company bank’s internet system - premiums and claims within agreed deadlines to ensure client satisfaction
- Willing to learn and process client money calculations
- Involved in the preparation of bank reconciliations
- Run standard and ad-hoc accounting reports, as necessary
Skills & Knowledge:
- Minimum of 18 months IBA experience ideally based in a Broker or MGA
- Oragnised and able to priortise workload
- Strong IT skills including Excel
- Strong attention to detail
