ICT Engineer - Matchtech : Job Details

Our client, a leading mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation contractor, is currently recruiting an ICT Engineer to join their newly awarded project in the Netherlands, one of the top ten cities to live in. Specialising in sectors such as Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, and Petrochemical, our client offers a supportive culture where contributions are recognised and valued.

• Acts as the site-based lead engineer.
• Demonstrates technical ability in all aspects of Telecom/ICT/Security Engineering & Design.
• Understands the design and specification of Telecom/ICT/Security solutions in line with current regulations and design standards.
• Collaborates with the project manager to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Develops and agrees on design processes and deliverables.
• Leads pre-construction engineering activities, including design development, construction details, service coordination, and technical submittals.
• Assists in the continual improvement of QA/QC Systems and executes project reviews.
• Provides technical support to estimating and commercial teams.
• Manages end-to-end procurement during the project lifecycle.
• Mentors and coaches team members.

• Holds an RCDD/CNIDP or similar qualification.
• Possesses an Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree or similar.
• Has experience with hyperscale data centres or large scale construction projects.
• Demonstrates effective vendor management and excellent organisational skills.
• Shows strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Preferred (but not mandatory) experience as a team lead.
