Import Coordinator - Right Now Group : Job Details

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an Import Coordinator for a medium sized freight forwarder based in Sunbury. As an Import Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end import process for both Road and Air, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and in compliance with regulations. Salary: £33,000-£35,000 + Additional Benefits Location: SunburyHours: Monday-Friday (9am-5:30pm) Key duties:

• Coordinate air and road import shipments from origin to final destination
• Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, and hauliers to ensure smooth cargo movement
• Manage customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with UK regulations
• Handle import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists
• Communicate with clients regarding shipment status and provide excellent customer service
• Arrange deliveries and ensure goods are dispatched on time
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve any operational issues
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems

Key requirements:

• Experience in import freight forwarding (sea, air, or road)
• Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures and documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in freight management software and Microsoft Office
