Import Coordinator (Junior) - Ocean Freight - Flexible Working - Ross Recruitment Associates Ltd : Job Details

Due to expansion the opportunity has arisen for a permanent Junior Import Operations Coordinator to join this established business. As the company expands they need a Junior Imports Coordinator to process customer Import bookings for their Liverpool office. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants a role that offers great flexibility for the right candidate and will trust you to get the job done.

Key duties will include:

Being the first point of contact for customers for Import Ocean Freight bookings.Processing Import bookings and associated documentation.Arranging Import deliveries and shipment releases.Organising transport / hauliers from Port to destination.Dealing professionally, effectively and timely with all customer queries ensuring problem solving and issue resolution to the customer’s satisfaction. Escalate any complex problems to Imports Supervisor.

To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to display first class customer service skills, good communication and a willingness to learn. You will have at least 12 months experience working in an Imports role with Ocean Freight and the discipline to manage your own workload and time to ensure the job gets done right first time.
