Import / Export Customs Clerk - Freightserve : Job Details

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Import / Export Clerk for a well-established busy Freight Forwarder based in the Staines-upon-Thames area.

This role will be an integral part of the freight team. Responsible for aspects of Import and Exports (mainly Air and Roadfreight)

Job Details:-

• Create Customs declarations ensuring correct codes / schemes used for both import & export.
• Create transit documents and ensure Customs compliant.
• Prepare all documentation for Imports and Exports.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Arrange transport for both international and domestic from start to finish, updating on status and final POD.
• Cost and provide quotes for all enquiries, offering advice on transit and Customs formalities.

Experience Required:-

• Experience with both Import and Exports
• customs experience
