Import / export freight operations clerk - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

NEW POSITION FOR A SPECIALIST FREIGHT COMPANY AT HEATHROW - IMPORT / EXPORT OPERATIONS CLERK REQUIRED URGENTLY.

Duties would include:

• Dealing with imports / exports- air/sea/ road shipments
• Taking bookings
• Arranging collections and delvieries
• Preparing customs documentations
• Job costing
• Invoicing clients
• Handling key accounts
• Updating clients on their shipments
• Liaising with airlines and overseas agents

Skills needed:

• 3 years + freight forwarding experience
• Import / export experience
• PC literate
• Good customer service skills

Working hours:

• Monday-Friday 8.00am - 16.30pm / 0900am -1730pm

There will be an on call rota 1 in 4 weekends however this can be done from home you do not need to attend the office at weekends when on call.
