In House Counsel Commercial & Procurement - IPS Group : Job Details

A rare chance to work in house for a FTSE 100 company and leading property business. You will be based in their North Yorkshire office and join their well-established legal team. This role is offered on a permanent basis, with agile working options available.The RoleReporting to the Group Director of Legal Services and the Chief Commercial Officer, this position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse range of non-contentious legal matters across various teams within the Group, including Procurement, Technical, Construction, and Commercial.The Candidate

• The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a strong commercial and procurement background ideally 5+ years' experience gained In House or at a leading private practice firm
• Experience of handling supply contracts for goods and services as well as drafting and amending contracts, including warranties, novation agreements, variations, NDAs, and other associated documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be instrumental in guiding the Group through complex legal landscapes, ensuring compliance, and fostering innovation within the procurement function.
