Inbound Logistics Manager – Luxury Fashion – 3-6months FTC

Office Location: Shepherds Bush, West London

Salary: £40,000-£50,000 DOE

Mon-Fri, 9.30am – 6pm (on-site)

Pod Talent is excited to partner with a world-renowned luxury fashion brand in their search for an Inbound Logistics Manager. This business is currently operating all around the world with substantial growth plans in place. They are widely celebrated for their innovation, progressiveness and incredible quality of their luxury clothing items.

As an Inbound Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for all logistics operations across the UK, Scandinavia, Italy and Switzerland. Including the import and export of raw materials directly from their suppliers and manufacturers across the globe.

Although this is a short-term fixed contact it’s a superb opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team for a world-known brand. This role will truly be able to offer you a lot of autonomy, and decision-making and could open a lot of doors in the future.

What are your responsibilities:

• Managing logistics operations, import/export across the whole of the EU.
• Organise and follow all inbound shipments by air, sea and road freight.
• Create quotations for import/export, consolidating shipments where possible to achieve the best price and service.
• Track all KPis for QC, efficiency and sustainability.
• Planning and budgeting, inventory management and update of storage tracking system.

What is your skill set:

• 2+ years of experience as a Logistics Manager in luxury fashion or retail is a must.
• Experience in managing 3PL logistics operations. (DHL, UPS etc)
• Experience in building, developing and managing teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, motivation and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
