Independent Reviewing Officer - Social Care Locums : Job Details

We are looking for an experienced IRO to carry out hte following duties:

• Chairing statutory Child in Care Reviews in person
• Ongoing monitoring of progress of childrens care plans / pathway plans
• Identifying areas of drift and delay in permanence for children, and escalating as per the Council's Escalation Policy
• Visiting children outside of Reviews
• Travel to children at their care placements, 50% of whom reside outside of the Local Authority
