Indirect Buyer - Portfolio Procurement : Job Details

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Central London based client to recruit for an Indirect Buyer.

Key purpose of role:

To source services and products at competitive price and manage risk through using effective category and contract management.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct category management reviews.
• Conduct tendering and benchmarking exercises in line with the category strategy.
• Ensure all contracts are in place with suppliers.
• Ensure all suppliers are compliant to company policies.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify business requirements.
• Monitor suppliers to ensure they are delivering in line with expectations and agreements.
• Communicate any changes which are likely to impact the business.

Skills and Experience required:

• Negotiation.
• Commercial acumen.
• Process orientated.
• Strong IT skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Degree and or CIPS qualified.
• Previous experience at Buyer level of at least 3 years.
