Indirect Tax Accountant - 3 month FTC

TalentEdge are partnered with an international Media business who are seeking an Indirect Tax Accountant to support for a 3 month fixed term contract. This role will be based their Central London office offering hybrid work in a fantastic and dynamic team. You will be responsible for ensuring preparation and submission of the UK & Irish VAT group returns and have a key focus on resolving queries, ensuring compliance is met from a VAT perspective and provide guidance to the UK VAT group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and prepare submission of VAT returns, providing analysis for reviews through Alteryx
• Review generated reports with finance teams to resolve errors before VAT returns are filed
• Support various teams to ensure VAT compliance and support business operations
• Assess risks and document to senior VAT leadership and Finance departments
• Ensure HMRC's compliance requirements are met across the function and provide internal support for VAT queries 

About You:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified accountant
• Strong financial systems experience such as SAP or ERP systems
• Experience in dealing with complex queries, resolving issues and identifying 
• Experience of Alteryx is highly desirable but not essential
