About the Role:

Our client's Security Engineering Team secures systems, protects sensitive data, and ensures regulatory compliance. The team, comprising professionals from diverse IT backgrounds, uses enterprise security tools and custom solutions to identify and mitigate risks. This fast-paced role requires adaptability to changing business needs and emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to system alerts and manage security tools.
• Support security projects and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements and audits.
• Maintain security documentation and perform routine checks.
• Stay updated on threats and escalate risks when necessary.

Requirements for this role:

• 4+ years' experience in a similar role
• Expertise in information security, network security, and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and CIS Controls.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk ES, Microsoft/Linux OS, and NG Firewalls.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security (GCP, Azure, AWS, Office 365).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, PowerShell, and security automation.
• Experience with EDR/XDR solutions and email security gateways.
• MUST have the Right to work in the UK i.e. British Citizen, ILR status or Settled status
