Infrastructure Engineer - Veeam - Ikhoi Recruitment : Job Details

A great MSP is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with veeam cloud experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure solutions that support our SaaS applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services. A strong understanding of cloud technologies, networking, and security protocols is essential for success in this role.

They need someone who has extensive knowledge of working with VMWare can carry out advanced Troubleshooting in the virtual environment Is comfortable building a cluster from scratch, so can configure switches, servers, storage etc.

They are a veeam Cloud connect service provider so are looking for someone that knows how to manage and maintain troubleshoot the cloud connect platform.

The role is only once a month/every other office visit to their Leeds office

• 5+ years experience in managing & supporting Microsoft server operating systems and infrastructure applications
• Experience in coaching/ mentoring & developing others within the team
• Experience delivering/ managing and supporting innovative technology solutions within compute storage and security domains
• Cloud infrastructure including compute/ storage/ network & security services (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)
• Server/ storage & networking hardware
• Virtualisation
• Virtual Desktop Technologies
• Cloud technologies (Azure)
• Backup/ Recovery & Disaster Recovery = experience of Veeam as an MSP an advantage
• WAN/ LAN
• DNS
• Network & information security
• Microsoft Server Operating Systems
• Microsoft Active Directory/ Federated Services/ Azure AD
• Linux skills are an advantage.
