Job Description :

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for an Infrastructure Product Manager for an initial 6-month contract on an 18-month project. The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days/week on-site in London.

Purpose of the role:

As part of the Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) - End User Computing Division, the Workplace Meeting Rooms Team manages the conferencing experience and associated hardware and software offerings for all Deutsche Bank employees across Investment, Private, and Retail Banking divisions globally. The Meeting Room product portfolio includes Logitech MTR, Cisco, Lightware, and Solstice.

This role is critical in ensuring our employees have the best solutions to enhance productivity and user experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for product lifecycle management, vendor relationships, and aligning solutions with Deutsche Bank's strategic technology goals.

This is a unique opportunity to join a global team of experts that design, develop, and deliver overall Workplace Meeting Room solutions for Deutsche Bank.

Key responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies, ensuring alignment with the bank's technology roadmap.
    • Manage the entire product lifecycle from selection, procurement, deployment, support, and end-of-life.
    • Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends to drive innovation and product improvements.
    • Work closely with EUC Lead Architects on new technologies and perform PoC evaluations with documented findings.
  • Product Development:
    • Translate business criteria into relevant requests in JIRA for engineering and test teams.
    • Prioritize requests efficiently and communicate status updates as the primary point of contact for internal clients.
    • Regularly review engineering test plans to ensure quality and improve engineering testing capabilities.
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with internal IT and business stakeholders across regions to gather requirements and feedback for continuous product enhancement.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective product selection.
    • Monitor delivery timelines for service-related hardware and follow up on issues with vendors.
    • Ensure compliance with SDLC, security, audit, and vendor management processes within the bank.
  • User Experience and Support:
    • Advocate for the end-user experience by leading testing groups and gathering feedback to drive product improvements.
    • Partner with IT Operations teams to address product-related issues and ensure timely and effective solutions for end-users.
  • Communication and Documentation:
    • Provide regular progress reports on product sets to stakeholders and management.
    • Create and maintain documentation for end-users and support teams.
    • Communicate product updates and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
    • Maintain a Risk and Issues register to track items that could delay or stop service delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Conferencing and Meeting Room Technologies and Vendors, to include Cisco, Logitech and Microsoft.
  • Proven experience in vendor management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid understanding of Networks, Security, Infrastructure, and Real Time communications protocols.
