Role: Inside Sales - Air & Ocean
Location: Birmingham / Solihull
Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic + Commission

My client is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Representative to work from their Birmingham / Solihullbranch, and can apply their strong global logistics background to generate and secure new business.
This sales role is key to developing a pipeline of new business for a top 25 global freight forwarder.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support and assist with driving account acquisition.
- Engage with their global internal network to assist with sales development.
- Completing spot & regular quotations for new & existing business, supporting the wider sales function.
- Develop and manage individual sales pipeline with a focus on Air & Ocean freight
- Book & attend meetings with support of sales managers
- Actively engage customers with consultative sales techniques to provide mutual benefit & positive customer experiences.
Candidate Requirement:
- Minimum 1 Year of experience within Freight Forwarding, preferably in Air & Sea logistics.
- Must be enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated & looking to develop career progression
- Proven track record in B2B Sales.
- Experience of working to achieve individual targets and generating own sales leads.
- Good knowledge of MS Office products
- Knowledge of Cargowise One desirable
