What this role is all about:The primary purpose of this role is to generate insights that support the business strategy and translate these insights into practical recommendations that improve the business. You will play a crucial role in shaping strategic decisions, leveraging data-driven insights and analytics.You will be at the forefront of understanding customer behaviour to steer decision-making process. Working closely with the Customer Insights Manager, the Insights Analyst will devise the optimal approach to using data to unearth valuable insights that inform strategy and tactics.The Insights Analyst will be proficient in data analysis and tools for data exploration and visualisation. They will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. They will be an expert in communicating complex data and conceptual information in a visually appealing format that can convince executive audiences.The role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather, analyse and interpret data and deliver analytical solutions that will support strategic decision making. Key Actions
- You will provide our company with contextualized, data-driven, and actionable customer insights which accelerate commercial growth, inform strategic and operational business priorities, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Able to handle vast volumes of data and translate it into compelling trends and actionable insights.
- Discover trends, patterns and stories told by the data, and design creative data visualisations and intuitive graphics to present the results of complex analyses.
- Ensure quality in the deliverables to meet the required standard for data quality, reliability, and accuracy.
- Lead and assist with ad hoc pieces of analysis based on opportunities you and the team spot dedicated to driving performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data analytics with business goals and objectives, and produce holistic insights.
- Support in designing comprehensive reports and dashboards that communicate key performance indicators and insights to key business stakeholders.
- Writes, prepares and produces analysis, presentations and papers for management and executive committees, liaising across the business and with external parties where necessary.
- By engaging with different stakeholders to understand data content, processes, and business requirements, you will develop reports and dashboards that continuously monitor and track key performance indicators.
- Performs competitor analysis, market analysis, deep dives into business performance and exploration of new opportunities.
Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
- Undergraduate degree.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an analyst providing insight or proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a financial services setting.
- Strong analytical skills: working with large data sets, data modelling, data manipulation, and data visualisation (including dashboarding).
- Solving complex client/customer problems through relevant analytical approaches using cutting-edge predictive algorithms/AI.
- Turning strategic intent into high-quality deliverables under time constraints.
- Synthesizing complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable insights.
- Understanding of business processes and goals to align data analysis with business objectives.
- Understanding of customer needs and priorities, using data and insights to improve and develop a truly customer-centric journey.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.
- Be a technical problem solver, playing a strategic role and feeding back insights to the wider team.
