About the opportunity:

We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a fast growing and forward-thinking organisation in the financial services industry specialising in insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clients with advice on insurance products and coverage, helping them to make informed decisions.
• Handle client queries and policy adjustments, providing top-tier customer service throughout the process.
• Work closely with underwriters and insurers to negotiate terms and secure the best possible coverage for clients.
• Review and prepare quotes as required.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional products, generating new business and enhancing account profitability.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience as an Insurance Account Handler or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, procedures, and regulations.
• Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
• Highly organised with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience of using insurance software systems (Acturis would be desirable).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work towards industry standard qualifications.
