Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced Data Specialist to provide technical and operational support to the Syndicate Underwriting teams through the analysis and processing of key policy data.

The successful Data Specialist / Technician will be successfully contributing to the continued enhancement of policy data quality for all Syndicate Underwriting Teams by identifying areas for improvement through analysis of relevant MI and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Insurance Data Technician - Duties:

• For the Syndicate platform, assist the Operations and Underwriting teams in the processing of bureau market messaging data that enables the accurate monitoring of outstanding premiums.
• Support the credit control process through data review and query resolution within the Policy Admin System.
• Contribute to the reconciliation of premium settlements to written premium records.
• Work with the Syndicate Underwriting Teams and other stakeholders to monitor data quality and identify and implement data quality improvements.
• Support Finance and the underwriting teams in undertaking tasks that assist with the monthly close process.
• Provide regular MI reporting to key stakeholders that facilitate accurate outstanding premium monitoring.

Data Technician - Over to You! Our Ideal Candidate Will Have;

• Excellent analytical, mathematical and organisational skills.
• Good Excel and Office 365 skills
• Some working experience in Lloyd’s market and understanding of bureau messaging.
• An understanding of Syndicate underwriting models and reporting.
• Progressing towards professional insurance qualification, e.g. CII
• Developing knowledge of key in-house Underwriting Systems
• Good working knowledge of Policy Administration Systems.
