Interim Accountant | Global Events Business | London

Harmonic is excited to be working with a live events business to recruit an Interim Accountant for a 3-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role.

The Client

Our client is a leading live entertainment group that creates, promotes, and delivers unique experiences across the world. Working with leading artists, performers, and brands, they successfully producing engaging and innovate content that connects audiences worldwide.

Reporting to the CFO, our client is looking for an Interim Accountant to join their team to exclusively lead the audit process after an acquisition earlier this year. Partnering across international entities and liaising with external auditors, you shall be the main point of contact to push the audit through and resolve queries. It is therefore essential that you are able to reconcile, consolidate, and communicate financial information within international reporting standards.

The culture of the business is friendly and collaborative, with great flexibility on offer. Currently Monday and Friday are work-from-home days with mid-week spent in their central London offices which are easily accessible.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end audit process
• Framing financial reports to auditors
• Resolving group queries
• Partnering across international entities
• Offering strategic insight into c-suite

• Experience leading end-to-end audits
• Multi-entity experience
• Fantastic communication skills
• A natural problem solver

What we need to see (bonus):

• (Part) Qualified Accountant
• Experience in Live Events/Media Industries

Location: London, Zone 1 (Hybrid)

Day Rate: £250-£325 (Inside IR35)
