Interim Accountant - IPS Group : Job Details

We are supporting a client based in Huddersfield that require a bookkeeper / company accountant to cover the sole accounts position for a short term period.Initially you will ensure that that the bank reconciliation and all ledgers are up to date and reconciled and then maintain full responsibility for the accounts department of a small business.This role requires you to be available for an immediate start.Main duties of the role:

• Credit control
• Processing invoices and receipts.
• Transactional work (credit card and expense claims and timesheet monitoring).
• Manage the staff benefit systems.
• Managing all petty cash.
• Monthly VAT reviews and adjustments including preparation of quarterly calculations / returns.
• Bank account reconciliation.
• Monitoring income and expenditure.
• Budgets and forecasts.
• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Maintain company cash flow.
• First point of contact for all financial queries.
