Interim Accountant - Axon Moore Group Ltd : Job Details

Axon Moore are supporting a fast paced and growing business based in West Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Accountant.You will have responsibility for the accurate and timely accounting of operational transactions for a number of businesses. This is a crucial finance role that will be part of the Group Finance team, working with senior operational staff across the business.The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:

• Preparation of relevant balance sheets, including reconciliations
• Supporting on the external audit by ensuring robust reconciliations and support is in place
• Accruals and prepayments
• Ad hoc project work
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Support on ensuring accurate reporting in management accounts
• Financial analysis

The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience)
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and their appropriate application
• Self-starter and able to work autonomously
• Strong time management and the ability to prioritise
