Interim Accountant - Gi Group Ireland : Job Details

Interim Accountant, Evesham, £55-65K, 3-6 months

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a close-knit finance team in Evesham on an interim basis. With a fun, family culture this is a role where you will lead financial accounting and reporting processes within a manufacturing business.

ResponsibilitiesLead financial accounting and reporting processes, focusing on timely and accurate monthly consolidation of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statements.Ensure compliance with statutory and group financial requirements, including audits, tax returns, and relevant filings (CIT, VAT)Manage monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, addressing discrepancies with the team promptly.Implement cash flow forecasting and reporting for the business.Maintain control over the fixed asset register and ensure compliance with IFRS and leasing regulations.Coordinate Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Account to Report activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.Collaborate with local teams, including HR and Customer Service and operations to provide financial insights and support.
