About the Role:
Protiviti, the global management consultancy, are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Business Analyst to join our team and support a leading insurance client. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a strong background in the insurance industry and a proven track record of optimising financial processes, specifically in Accounts Payable (AP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to analyse and document business requirements, focusing on the Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Lead the end-to-end analysis and improvement of Accounts Payable workflows, identifying bottlenecks and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and implement process optimisation strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve accuracy in AP.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, IT, and other departments to ensure solutions are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Create detailed documentation including business process maps, gap analyses, and requirements specifications.
- Assist in the development of user stories, use cases, and testing plans to support process changes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on process improvements and system enhancements.
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems within the organisation.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to measure success and identify areas for further enhancement.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a global insurance or financial services business is essential.
- Demonstrable expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) process improvement, including system upgrades, automation, and optimisation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with methodologies like Scrum or Kanban is advantageous.
