Category Manager| £350-£400 per day (Umbrella)| Interim | 6 months | South West

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a public sector organisation, to recruit a Category Manager on an interim basis.

This position would suit an individual with a track record in the public sector, an understanding of PCR and strong stakeholder management skills.

Role:

• Running above and below threshold tenders from end-to-end ensuring full compliance
• Leading on procurement projects within procurement category and providing sound procurement advice to stakeholders
• Strong knowledge and experience of using PCR2015
• Knowledge on all procurement and commercial aspects of specific categories
• Engaging with stakeholders on a regularly

Individual:

• Public Sector background
• Great understanding of public contract regulations
• End to End Tendering experience
• CIPS desirable
• Manging multiple projects at once
