Interim Commercial Accountant - Investigo : Job Details

Our Client

Our client is a leading data business suporting a range of clients to manage and secure their information. They are looking for an experienced Interim Commercial Accountant to support them through a transition period.

The Role

This role will oversee all financial activities relating to operations in multiple centres across Europe, providing compliance with local regulation and supporting business objectives.

• Lead financial reporting close process for multiple regions - reporting to group under US GAAP
• Ownership over journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Develop relationships with stakeholders from other business functions to provide financial support across European markets
• Supporting with submission of statutory accounts for multiple European entities, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards
• Be the point of contact for external auditors, making sure all Audit deliverables are provided
• Continuously identifying process and system improvements
• Communicate financial results to key stakeholders across European regions including senior management and external parties

The Successful Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CAANZ)
• Post qualification experience (second time mover level)
• GAAP knowledge - working with US GAAP or IFRS and its application (other European GAAPs advantageous)
• Audit experience - audit background and experience in industry managing external audits
• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Daily rate of £400 - £425 per day (inside IR35, via umbrella)
• Hybrid working - 3 days per week in Central London
