A Delivery Support Officer position has arisen with one our Higher Education clients based in London.
An experienced Project professional is needed to assist with the support and enablement of Strategic Programme and Change Management teams.
The purpose of the role will be:
- Support the management of multiple concurrent change and programme plans, including communications and engagement, familiarisation, training, readiness, and support.
- Coordinate programme and change activities, including tracking tasks, managing capacity and resources, and coordinating activities of the programme team and change managers.
- Maintain change and programme registers.
- Provide administrative support, including document management, meeting and event scheduling, minute-taking, and maintaining project files.
The Role:
- Assisting with the coordination and facilitation of all aspects of Programme and Change Management for a strategic programme
- Maintaining multiple programme and change plans (including communications, engagement, training, resistance, etc.)
- Assisting with identification and resolution of risks, issues and dependencies
- Booking & facilitation of delivery meetings including daily stand-ups, backlog planning meetings, and sprint retrospectives
- Supporting system user acceptance testing activities including engaging testers and scheduling sessions
- Support collaboration within the programme team
- Planning and coordinating communication activities, including creating and maintaining mailing lists, drafting and circulating communications and managing responses
- Designing and creating online work spaces (eg. Sharepoint / MS Teams / and Miro)
- Work with Senior Change Manager and Programme Manager to resolve conflicts & remove obstacles that may occur
- Work with stakeholder groups and sponsors to coordinate delivery of communications, testing and training
- Produce and maintain reports, dashboards and slide decks for programme reporting
- Supporting with estimation of work items and planning
- Communicate progress and escalate issues where required
- Collaborate closely with all areas of the programme team, maintaining knowledge of the broader programme delivery (including IT delivery, testing, and external delivery partners)
- Ensure that progress, issues, and risks from the broader programme are reflected in the change management plans and approach
- Providing domain related and/or role related advice, guidance and support to team members as required
- Contribute and participate in relevant meetings and forums
- Seek continuous improvement and actively help to evolve the change management approach
- Champion accessibility of all documentation to organisational guidelines
- Monitoring and reporting delivery expenditure against budget
The Successful Candidate
- Experience in supporting delivery of projects or products within a framework
- Proven track record of balancing multiple priorities and prioritising workload
- Experience producing regular reports on progress
- Can demonstrate Change Management principles, approaches and methodologies
- Experience working within a Change Management team
- Industry recognised qualification in agile delivery or project management (CSM, SAFe, PRINCE2, APMP)
A professional who has a background in Higher Education or the wider Not-for-Profit will be highly desirable
