Job Title: Interim Document Review Accountant

Location: London, Victoria (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Interim - 3 Months

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £600-£800 per day

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Document Review Accountant for a 3-month interim project with a leading financial services company in central London. The role focuses on documenting financial reporting processes and controls to ensure compliance and audit-readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and finalise templates for process documentation.
  • Define the scope and content of the documentation, including key chapters and processes.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of financial processes through walkthroughs and observations, identifying dependencies, controls, and key elements.
  • Draft process documentation, review with stakeholders, and update based on feedback.
  • Ensure the final documentation is thorough, compliant, and audit-ready.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in documenting financial processes and controls.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and IFRS standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Financial services background is preferred but not essential.
  • Available for an immediate start and committed to the 3-month project.
