My client, a leading global media organisation, is seeking an Interim EMEA Payroll Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a blue-chip company, overseeing payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries.

• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
• Act as the escalation point for payroll service issues across EMEA, ensuring timely resolution through external vendors.
• Ensure employees receive accurate and timely remuneration, meeting contractual obligations.
• Manage relationships between third-party payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll processing.
• Approve and oversee payroll reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for management and relevant authorities.
• Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees and legal entity stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with statutory payroll regulations and audit controls.
• Oversee third-party payments, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Support and provide cover for other Payroll Managers within the EMEA team.
• Troubleshoot SAP technical issues, such as GL posting discrepancies, and propose efficiency improvements.

• Proven experience managing vendor-supported payroll processes.
• Extensive experience leading payroll operations for a large, multinational organisation.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and best practices across multiple EMEA countries.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and accounting skills.
• Experience working with SAP and troubleshooting payroll-related system issues.
