Interim Finance Business Partner - Reed : Job Details

• Day Rate: £500 - £550
• Location: Hybrid (office attendance once a fortnight)
• Contract Length: 6 months minimum

We are seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join our client. This role is crucial for providing financial guidance and support, particularly in budget management and strategic advisory. The successful candidate will work closely with the SLT being an advisory for the financial stratergy & budget management. 

• Monitor and forecast budgets, ensuring financial stability and efficiency.
• Set budgets in alignment with organisational goals and financial policies.
• Advise on the development and implementation of new processes and policies to enhance financial management.
• Provide detailed finance-related comments for reports and officer decisions, supporting transparent and informed decision-making.
• Offer day-to-day financial support and advice to various business units, aiding in their operational and strategic functions.

• Must be fully qualified, ACCA, ACA, CIMA & CIPFA.
• Considerable experience in Local Authority finance is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial forecasting and budget management.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of advising and influencing stakeholders across various levels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a broader team.
