Interim Finance Director - Academy Trust - RM RECRUIT LIMITED : Job Details

RM Recruit are working with Yorkshire based Multi Academy Trust to recruit an Interim Finance Director for their leadership team for a January 2025 start. This 6 month assignment will see you operate as the number one in finance whilst the Trust reviews it management structure to support its growth plans and recruitment strategy.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

• Act as the named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary and carry out accountabilities and responsibilities set out in the Academies Trust Handbook.
• Provision of high quality leadership and management of the Trust’s internal-facing finance function to enable the Trust to run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively in the delivery of its core aims.
• Leading the finance team and ensuring effective financial management.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to drive financial planning and analysis.
• Senior level finance support to the CEO, Board and other Leaders on a range of commercial and statutory finance matters.

We are seeking candidates who hold fully qualified accountant status and who have proven experience in Multi Academy Trust settings. This role can be hybrid to suit an established Finance Director who can demonstrate the sector knowledge required. Part time working can also be considered.
