Interim Finance Director – Media - 4 Month FTC - £125-150k (HYBRID)Are you a skilled finance professional with strong year-end experience and a background in managing finance teams? We’re looking for an experienced Finance Director to step into a short-term contract, providing essential leadership and expertise through a crucial year-end period. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with a hands-on approach, ideally from a Practice background, to support and guide a finance team within a fast-paced media environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Audit & Financial ControlLead the year-end audit process, acting as the go-to person for auditors and ensuring accurate, compliant financial reporting.
• Team ManagementManage and motivate a talented finance team, providing support and guidance on technical finance matters. Be the trusted leader for your team when dealing with complex queries and detailed audit questions.
• Financial ReportingOversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, maintaining a high standard of financial control and compliance across all areas of accounting.
• Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with senior management and auditors, building strong relationships and ensuring smooth, effective communication on financial matters.

Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a solid background in finance.
• Proven year-end and audit experience, with the ability to lead audit processes and manage detailed queries.
• Strong team leadership skills, with experience in motivating and supporting finance teams through demanding periods.
• Media sector experience is a plus, but candidates from other industries with similar demands are welcome to apply.
