Interim Finance Manager - Reed : Job Details

Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner, is currently seeking a Finance Manager for a temporary position with our client based in Folkestone. This role is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who is ready to take on a challenging role in a dynamic environment and is available to start immediately.

• Oversee daily financial operations and manage the finance team.
• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Establish and maintain financial controls and guidelines.

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or similar will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.

The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position would need to demonstrate experience obtained from a similar Finance Manager role, be in commutable distance to our client in Folkestone, be able to work full-time in our client's office, and be available to start work immediately.
