Interim Finance Manager - Watford (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Finance Manager ready to take on a dynamic and impactful interim role for an industry leader with a strong international presence? We are seeking a skilled professional to join a Watford-based team on a temporary basis.

As Interim Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial efficiency and contributing to the growth of a thriving international business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee key financial operations and lead a dedicated finance team.

• Lead and manage a small finance team, fostering collaboration and productivity.
• Prepare accurate forecasts and monitor cash flows across international entities.
• Oversee and improve controls, addressing outdated processes for enhanced efficiency.
• Manage and reconcile loan accounts, overdrafts, and multi-currency operations.
• Review journals, reconciliations, and month-end variances, resolving queries.
• Prepare and present monthly reconciliation packs for multiple entities.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure compliance and produce annual financial statements.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with:

• Proven experience in international finance and multi-currency transactions.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication abilities to work across teams and liaise with external partners.
• Previous exposure to enhancing controls and implementing process improvements.
