About the ClientA fairly new multi-academy trust based in Yorkshire.Job DescriptionAn interim Finance Officer role you will ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.  You will also provide key financial support to our schools and stakeholders and work closely with senior leaders to ensure compliance with financial policies.  You will assist in the preparation of financial reports and annual statements.Manage financial systems and resolve complex queries.  Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Successful Applicant:To be successfully considered for this role, candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

• An understanding of financial processes and procedures
• Experience including: data input & retrieval; management, development and operation of systems & procedures
• Part qualification with a recognised accountancy body- ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CIPFA or significant education finance experience
• Experience of working in a public sector organisation e.g. Schools, Local Authority, NHS
• Use of ICT including excel, Microsoft office and financial management systems
