Interim Financial Accountant

£80,000 - £85,000 - Immediate Start - 6-month assignment. 2-3 days in office.

We are looking to speak to immediately available finance professionals who can start a temporary assignment ASAP.

This is a hands-on financial accounting, fixing and doing role so someone with a technical grounding would be great.

Someone who knows how to help with a complicated month-end and group financial reporting.

This business is one of the fastest-growing businesses globally, they also have several iconic brands.

• Can start ASAP.
• Group accounting experience.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
• Experience in financial reporting.

The Role

The successful Interim Senior Financial Accountant is likely to take responsibility for the following:

• Support with Year End and Month End.
• Reviewing balance sheets monthly working collaboratively with the management accounting teams.
• Lead the statutory reporting process with external auditors.
• Liaise with external tax advisors on corporation tax.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
• Point of contact for all technical accounting matters. Keeping up to date with new regulations or policies that affect the business.
• Monthly cashflow reporting.
• Monthly management accounts production.
• Involved in monthly board pack production.
• Support on all M&A activity.
• Support on wider finance projects and process improvements
• Support CFO and FD in ad hoc reporting when required
• Advice on process improvements and systems changes.

Salary & Benefits

£80,000 - £85,000 + Benefits (6 Month Contract)
