Interim Financial Accountant (Tax) - 3 to 6 month contract - Day Rate - Fully Remote - Leading Charity

Client Details

Our client is a highly respected entity in the Not For Profit sector, with a substantial workforce.

Description

• Preparation of tax computations and tax returns.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Assisting with financial analysis and budgeting.
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations.
• Liaising with auditors and providing necessary information for audit.
• Participating in financial projects and initiatives as required.
• Contributing to the continual improvement of financial processes within the company.

Profile

A successful applicant should:

• Be Qualified (ACA, ACCA)
• Have direct significant experience of preparing VAT returns and associated issues ( ideally at a charity)
• Require someone who is willing to get their hands dirty
• Be a very strong communicator in writing and verbally e.g. can articulate issues clearly and propose clear next steps/ solutions
• A technically strong individual as support in preparing for year end will be necessary
• Proficiency in tax computations and financial analysis.
• A proven track record in a similar role within the Not For Profit sector.
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
