Our client, a leading provider of high-quality legal services in the professional services sector, is seeking an experienced Finance Contractor with a strong background in budgeting and financial planning to join their team on a temporary basis.

In this role, you will take the lead in managing and overseeing the budgeting process. You'll collaborate closely with both the finance team and senior leadership to ensure precise financial planning and budget compliance across various departments. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully and help drive the business toward improved financial performance.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), ideally with experience in a professional services setting-candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
• Have proven expertise in budgeting and financial management, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
• Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-financial departments and produce clear, written presentations.
