Interim Management Accountant - Distinct Recruitment : Job Details

Distinct is supporting a reputable Nottingham-based company to recruit an interim Management Accountant. The business operates in Manufacturing and Retail sectors and the role will support its financial operations during a pivotal time.

This interim position is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking business. They offer hybrid work (three days from their Nottingham offices and two days from home).

The position includes analysis and reporting on manufacturing and operational performance across business channels, assisting management accounting and business partnering functions. You can also prepare and present variance analysis reports, manage and oversee month-end processes, and perform and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations.

In addition, you will lead budgeting and forecasting activities for operational functions, providing support for audits, statutory reporting, and due diligence as necessary. You will also contribute to ad hoc project work as needed.

You must be available to start this assignment at short notice. Strong experience in management accounts, excellent communication skills, and good problem-solving skills are essential.
