The client:

Harmonic is delighted to be working with an exciting and fast growth Online Marketplace in their search for an Interim Management Accountant. Our client has scaled significantly over the past 3 years through a mixture of organic growth and acquisitions. With multiple entities now in the group covering the UK and Europe, they are targeting further expansion into North America and Asia in the near future.

They have scaled to over 500 employees and are forecasting in excess of 50% revenue growth this year. Backed by top VC's and headquartered in convenient central London location, this a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring finance professional looking to increase their exposure and take on new responsibilities.

The role:

As the Interim Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and Head of Finance to prepare the consolidated group management accounts. Owning end-to-end production of monthly management accounts for a company of their size requires a detail orientated and efficient qualified accountant who is experienced working with multiple currencies. Their ideal candidate is very hands-on, adaptable, and immediately available.

Responsibilities:

• Production of consolidated Monthly Management Accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow).
• Run monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare month end journals such as payroll, accruals, & prepayments.
• Prepare monthly board reporting packs.
• Prepare group consolidated P&L
• Tax & compliance reports for all entities.
• Ad-hoc tasks for the Financial Controller and Head of Finance.

Essential Skills

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Previous Experience in a multi-entity business.
• A passion for Tech.
• Ability to be adaptable and be very hands-on.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Experience

• Big 4 trained
• 2+ years PQE
• Experience is a fast growth Scale-up.

Day Rate: £350 - £400/day (Inside IR35)

Location: Victoria, London (2 day in the office, 3 days WFH)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 3 Months
