Description

• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring financial compliance
• Performing variance analysis and providing financial insight
• Assisting in annual audits
• Liaising with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc financial tasks
• Providing financial support and guidance to non-financial members of the team

Profile

A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• Proficiency in financial software packages
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A strong understanding of the not-for-profit sector
