Job Title: Interim Principal Solicitor, Contracts and Major Projects

Location: Hybrid - Once week in Dudley, West Midlands

Rate: £60.00 - 70.00 per hour

Summary

To assist in the provision of an efficient and effective legal service to the Council, its Members, various directorates and officers.

This will include working directly with a caseload predominantly involving Contracts/Major Projects, but also by inspiring, motivating and supporting those employees for which the post holder has responsibility (sometimes in areas of law that may not be the post holder's main area of experience, e.g., Planning and Conveyancing).

Also responsibility for managing inter-directorate relationships, together with partner organisations. This will involve ensuring there is a stimulating, healthy, safe, supportive and satisfying working environment.
