An Interim Procurement Officer - FM is sought to support strategic procurement and supply chain operations within the public sector. This individual will play a key role in ensuring efficient procurement processes and maintaining supplier relationships within Facilities Management.

• Facilitate procurement activities and manage supplier relationships
• Support the development of procurement strategies and processes
• Conduct market research and analysis
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on procurement initiatives
• Participate in contract negotiations and management
• Oversee the procurement of goods and services
• Monitor supplier performance and initiate improvements

Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Officer - FM should have:

• Proficiency in procurement systems and processes
• Experience procuring FM and and small works contracts as well as good understand of JCT contracts
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Familiarity with public sector procurement regulations
• Sound judgement in making procurement decisions
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
