Project Accountant - (5-6 month contract, Year End Project)

Central London, starting 1st April

Hybrid working 2 days in office

We are currently seeking an ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified Financial Accountant to support the year-end process within a large, complex group organisation. This 5-6 month contract role starting on April 1st, making it ideal for professionals currently available and able to commit to this time frame or those completing in roles/contracts shortly.

Experience required

• Good statutory accounting and tax knowledge
• Large group consolidation experience
• Preparation of year end financial statements
• Good understanding of IFRS 16 reporting requirements
• Previous experience leading and supporting external audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Ideally experience managing/supervising staff
• You may be a professional contractor adept at carrying out year end accounting projects within varied environments, or you may be someone finishing a permanent role shortly and looking for an interesting project to enhance your experience, having led audits within previous roles.
