We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Interim Registered Children’s Manager to step into a vital leadership role within a children’s care setting. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and support a team committed to providing high-quality care to young people. The initial contract is for 3 months and the role is based in Manchester.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of care professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and other regulatory requirements, including maintaining and updating care plans.
- Support and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the setting, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Work closely with families, external professionals, and social workers to ensure the best outcomes for children in your care.
- Ensure that all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are in place and adhered to.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Children’s Manager with a strong background in children’s residential care settings.
- A proven leader with experience managing teams, ideally with a background in managing children’s homes or care facilities.
- A deep understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations, with the ability to lead a team through inspections and audits.
- Compassionate, resilient, and approachable, with a passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and external agencies.
