Interim Senior Financial Accountant - Fusion Recruitment Limited : Job Details

I am recruiting an Interim Senior Financial Accountant for a VC backed technology client which is scaling rapidly and currently going through a large finance transformation project.

Supporting the Finance Director your responsibilities will be varied, but will include task such as:

• Acting as a key point of contact for the Group entities regarding financial statement inquiries (IFRS), ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards (IFRS).
• Balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all items are reconciled, disclosed and accounted for correctly. Providing a detailed commentary for the Financial Controller.
• Liaison with auditors re: FY23 and all necessary adjustments.
• Providing technical accounting guidance to finance colleagues.
• Analysing P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow providing an explanation of key material movements.

Requirements:

• A qualified chartered accountant (ACA) with a background in Audit (ideally big 4, top 10).
• Technically strong (IFRS) with extensive financial accounting / technical accounting experience.
• Possessing a high degree of intelligence (evidence by strong academics and an ability for critical thinking), you must demonstrate a high energy approach to the tasks that own. You must be curious with the ability to take responsibility for and solve complex problems.
• You must be commercially minded, able to plan for the future, act to mitigate potential risks and be able to manage and deliver upon numerous projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and sustain good working relationships with internal and external clients.
• Experience of NetSuite would be advantageous.
• Available immediately / 1 week.
