Description
- Leading procurement activities within the Construction and FM Category function
- Establishing and managing effective relationships with suppliers
- Developing procurement strategies and plans
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies
- Managing risks associated with procurement activities
- Reporting on procurement performance and outcomes
Profile
A successful Interim Senior Procurement Officer should have:
- Ideally MCIPS Qualified
- Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts
- Able to work one day per week on site in London
- Proven experience in managing end to end procurement activities
- Strong negotiating skills
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and policies
- The ability to develop effective supplier relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work well in a team environment
