Interim Systems and Reporting Accountant - Robertson Bell : Job Details

Robertson Bell are working with a not for profit organisation in Northamptonshire to recruit an Interim Systems and Reporting Accountant for a three to six month contract. The role is varied and works closely with the Deputy Director of Finance across a number of areas, these include:

• Assisting with the year end and queries from auditors.
• Working on the newly implemented payroll and forecasting systems to ensure they are working correctly and fit for purpose.
• Documenting standard operating procedures and creating manuals for how to complete finance tasks.
• Various reconciliation projects.
• Ad hoc tasks from the Deputy Director of Finance to aid the wider Finance team in being ‘a-grade’.

This is a great opportunity to add value to an organisation looking to be the best they can and would be great for someone who has done similar in the part or looking to further their project experience. The successful candidate will:

• Have strong experience of working with systems.
• Comfortable liaising with auditors.
• Be immediately available or on a short notice period.
• Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be happy to working in the Northamptonshire office three days per week.
