Interim Year-End Accountant - Grafton Banks Limited : Job Details

** Interim Year-End Accountant - 6-month term **

Grafton Banks is partnering with an established East Sussex-based business, to find a Year-End Interim Accountant to support the team through the year end statutory accounts and audit process. You’ll need to be available to start in 1-2 weeks for this role and able to be in the office 3 days per week.

Role responsibilities:

• Preparing statutory reporting packs, help prepare tax packs, answering queries from the external tax practice accountants (you don’t need to be a tax specialist).
• Preparing data and pulling together statutory accounts trial balances so they can be sent to external accountants.
• Be an effective point of contact for the auditors.

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), with year-end statutory accounts experience (UK GAAP) from a large and/or complex business (£100m+).
• Confident communication skills, able to interact with 3rd parties externally and within the business.
• Corporation tax knowledge is helpful.

• Office attendance – 3 days in the office (East Sussex).

The role has been assessed to sit Outside IR35, and estimates to offer £450-500.00 per day, with 2 days WFH.
