Interior Designer Position Overview
- Engage with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget constraints, and discuss project goals and expectations
- Develop and refine design concepts, including layout plans, color schemes, and material selections, and create mood boards and conceptual sketches
- Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings, and prepare comprehensive documentation for client approval and contractor use
- Work closely with colleagues, including other designers, project managers, and administrative staff, to ensure cohesive project execution and efficient workflow
Interior Designer Position Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in interior design, demonstrating a strong portfolio and proven expertise
- Experience working with commercial clients, including knowledge of industry standards and business-specific design requirements
- InDesign and Photoshop proficiency is essential, while Revit knowledge is beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions, team collaboration, and presentation of design concepts
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design execution and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with other designers, project managers, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals
Interior Designer Position Remuneration
- £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
