We are looking for an Internal Account Manager to join a lighting hire business based in Leeds. In this role, you will manage customer accounts and deal with warm sales enquiries.This is quite a technical role where you will need to understand a wide range of products and put together detailed proposals. Experience in lighting hire or a similar industry is essential - building proposals from a detailed range of equipment to suit the customer's requirements.This isn't a targeted role, it's more about delivering for the customer, building long term relationships and recognising sales opportunities. We still need someone who can spot an opportunity and close a sale, however you will not be pressured into hitting financial targets.Main duties to include;
- Growing the existing customer base by converting opportunities and building long term relationships that result in repeat business
- Seek out new sales opportunities and support the growth of the department
- Organise face to face meetings for the sales team to demonstrate equipment
- Follow up on leads, seek feedback and understand why opportunities might have been missed
- Support external sales team with quotations and proposals
We are looking for;
- Previous experience in sales or account management
- Lighting hire experience or similar
- Someone who can find solutions and meet customers needs
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Someone who can work interdependently and is self motivated
- Driving licence preferred, should the need arise to meet with clients
